About This Project

History Listen is an immersive audio series designed to bring history to life for students, museums, art galleries and sound spaces. Through powerful storytelling, rich sound design, and music from the era, we transport listeners into pivotal historical moments—making history more engaging, emotional, and memorable.

Our first two episodes showcase the depth and impact of this project:

 

We are seeking funding to further develop, produce, and distribute this groundbreaking educational tool to schools, libraries, and online platforms.

Why This Project Matters

​Making History Come Alive – Traditional lessons can feel distant and uninspiring. Our immersive audio experiences connect students emotionally to the past, helping them feel history—not just learn about it—through voices, sound, and music of the time.

Inclusive & Accessible Learning – Designed for all students, including those with visual impairments, this project ensures history is accessible to everyone.

Our Vision

🔹 Nationwide Reach – Partnering with schools, libraries, and digital learning platforms to maximize accessibility.
🔹 Educator Integration – Working with teachers to incorporate these episodes into dynamic lesson plans.
🔹 Expanding the Series – Using listener feedback to explore additional historical themes and events.

​The first part of this series, The 9/11 Project, a project about 9/11 and the events that followed was exhibited at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C.—a testament to the power of audio storytelling in education.
